In honor of my AP Lit Reading Assignment, DANTE’S INFERNO!!!! I’m so excited to start reading it; I’ve never been this excited about reading a book EVER! lol

The Dante’s Inferno Test has banished you to the Third Level of Hell!

In the third circle, you find yourself amidst eternal rain, maledict, cold, and heavy. The gluttons are punished here, lying in the filthy mixture of shadows and of putrid water. Because you consumed in excess, you meet your fate beneath the cold, dirty rain, amidst the other souls that there lay unhappily in the stinking mud. Cerebus, a canine monster cruel and uncouth with his three heads and red eyes, dwells in this level. He growls and tears at the damned with his teeth and claws.

My mother said a bad word in Spanish. I’m not used to this at all :p

She said “cojer?” I think that’s how you spell it. Anyways, she was referring to how both Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown will fuck California no matter who wins.

This weather has made me wonder about something. Why do people smoke in this super hot weather!? Seriously? It’s unbearably hot and you’re taking the time to smoke a cigarette. People are insane.

Today: Burning Hot! Hectic. Productive. Exhausting.

Feels like Senior year :] 

I’m looking through the piles and piles of old childhood candid pictures for my filmmaking project. I love how old pictures make me feel all warm inside :] 

I’m working on my college UC prompt # 2 essay :/ I think I know what I’m going to talk about but it just seems like A LOT of pressure!

Spent the past hour and a half writing my article for journalism. The article is blah, but then again I’m never 100% satisfied with any of my articles EVER. Now, I’m incredibly sleepy so that means I’ll listen to some upbeat music just to stay awake for a few more hours. 

I have a headache x( Time to use music as medicine :]

I briefly cleaned my drawers today because I was looking for my honors chemistry notes/assignments/tests etc., which I’m sure I’ve kept. Anyways, I was looking for that work because my brother has Mr. Morgan so I wanted to give him my notes for his personal reference. I couldn’t find them but I learned that I have SO much past assignments in my drawers, folders, lying around, etc. Usually, I’m pretty good at organizing but I haven’t taken the time to organize all of my previous homework/notes/junk. I’ve kept the stuff just in case I need to jog my memory when I’m in college. I probably won’t need the stuff but I’ll keep most of it until my senior year ends just in case. For all I know, I’m just holding on to stuff just to hold on to stuff because I may think that someday they’ll be important maybe just maybe. As a result, I didn’t throw out all of the stuff, instead, I shoved them in a poly expanding file that has 21 pockets! I’ll probably have to clean that out too lol. The main reason why I do keep stuff is because of instances like the one that prompted me to clean my stuff, because my brothers may need my past notes or work for reference, not copying but an actual “that’s how you do it” type of reference. I’m still convinced that I have my honors chemistry work somewhere and the weird thing is that it’ll probably show up when I’m not even looking for it. Funny how that works.  

I’m slowly discovering that my mom wants me to live at home when I’m in college. My little brother is taunting her and telling her that I should apply to Stanford because it’s a great school and she keeps insisting that it’s too far. So he told her about dorms and she still thinks that even if I attend a university in Los Angeles I should live at home. Mother can’t let go :p 

Oh man I just noticed that I haven’t listened to my ipod for the past week! What is senior year doing to me? I have to get myself back on track music-wise, so I’m going to listen to Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs album. It’ll get me back to where I need to be.

I’m going to start my AP Government outline today, just to get ahead a bit, and not worry about it on Wednesday night. Ooh Gossip Girl’s new season begins today :]

Don’t judge me :p lol my tastes are what I enjoy, not what I am. 

First day of school was pretty relaxed. However, I’m getting worried about a certain class. I feel that it’s going to become very restricted and that was never the point of this class. Besides that, this school year will be fine.
