It’s the time of year for resolutions, and I’ve had the same resolution for years without getting where I wan to be. I’d get frustrated and completely stop my efforts, however, over the years I’ve been better at getting back on track when I “fail.” Overall, these last few months have been pretty good for me in terms of being responsible for what I eat, well except for that week or two when I got bored of what I ate so I snacked more. Aside from that, I think the main difference between me then and now is that I don’t get down on myself if I don’t accomplish what I want to accomplish easily. I’m patient but also more resilient. As long as I remain patient yet resilient, I know that I’ll stick to my goals. I’m not planning on losing a certain amount of weight, not now. I’m just focusing on developing better habits and living healthier. So that’s my goal: to feel good. Happy New Year’s Eve :)
