Sean Pierce - Wait With Me

A beautiful song from a friend that taught me so much about music, many years ago. He also has a pretty great music video you should check out.

Mandfred Mann - Do Wah Diddy Diddy

Ginelle introduced me to this song earlier today and I can’t stop listening to it now!

PS I find the lead singer pretty hilarious in this video lol

The Animals - Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood

I’ve listened to this song way too many times for the past few days, but it’s wonderful so I don’t mind it much :p

Sublime - Badfish

This is one of my favorite songs from the 90s. It puts me at ease in a weird way, considering its lyrics.

I like beautiful melodies telling me terrible things.

Tom Waits. (via positivepanic)

Got my two Doors albums and Kings of Leon’s first album too (the white looking one). Yay!

I see your hair is burning.
Hills are filled with fire.
If they say I never loved you
You know they are a liar.

LA Woman - The Doors

Think Gabby think…

Idiot me decided to buy some albums from iTunes. Then I realized, if I’m going to buy full ALBUMS I should probably buy them in hard copy! So I went to amazon and bought two of The Doors’ albums from there :) Doing this makes me realize that I’d take a hard copy of music over a digital copy any day because I can easily digitize the hard copy you know. Plus I can keep albums for years to come and have my own album collection! It’s like ebooks. I would never buy an ebook unless it was for a college class which’s book I don’t care to have later. If I want to read a book for leisure and such then I’d rather buy it in a hard copy so that I can keep it for as long as I’d like. So yeah there’s some money I’ll never get back, but at least I can STILL enjoy the wonderful music :) I’m so relieved I didn’t buy some of my favorite albums on iTunes. That would’ve really killed me…
